I attend a has-been military school. It no longer is what it once was. But for parents weekend, one of our cadets in my unit has a dad in the 160th and he came down to visit. He brought with him a flag that was flown on an AH-6 during OIF and beneath it was a signed certificate presenting it to my unit, A Battery. It was a very moving guesture that reminded everyone exactly what it means to be military. He was a great man to meet. Next year I'm attending USMA, and even though I am not choosing aviation as a branch, it is men like CW5 X that make me proud to be joining up. Thank you Nighstalkers for never quitting.
