Is the safety the "safety" or is your trigger finger the "safety"?

The fact that you asked the question means you probably already know the answer:-) The finger is the only true safety!

In my opinion the weapon should always be on safe finger away from triger except when you have it in your shoulder to avoid misfires(check out "STALINGRAD" a german movie) and accidents. Also the danish livefire rules states the weapon has to be on safe when conducting livefire excersises with more than to men, so "practice" and the real thing has the same handling
