Folks - I have been seeing increasing trend in personal attacks on individuals for their opinions.
From here on, I will delete any posts which contain posts which can be deemed personal attacks or condescending to veterans posting on these boards. Remember all veterans have earned their right to have opinions.
If you disagree with someones opinion, that is fine. Simple state that you disagree and why. You can also call "bullshit" on folks use of supporting "facts" but back it up with your own facts. You do not need to get personal with the individual posters. There is nothing wrong with throwing in a personal jibe but put a smiley :) :p ;) in it so folks will know that you are kidding.
I personally use the term dumbass. I say it all the time, with a smile on my face and folks know me know I mean nothing personal by it. When posting I try to add a smiley when I use it.
Some of you civilians should also understand that you best watch your tone when addressing veterans and should at all times reframe from criticizing veterans in a personal manner.
Your typed words can be misconstrued... happens all the time. You simply have to clarify your point at times.
Do not drag other subjects or a posters opinions of other subjects into a thread that has no relevance to the topic at hand. Otherwise you will be labeled as having a case of shitbirditous. Not a pleasant disease to suffer from...;)
There is no need for dogpiling, if issues arise that require Mods or Admins to step in, simple alert one of us or simply STFU.
Just remember that there are folks of all religions, political parties, left and right wingers on this sight. No need to slam an individual who has a differing opinion.
