just a quick question for any cct's or pj's ( and i tried to search this but couldn't find anything) i'm currently a SWCC in the navy and have been thinkin of maybe switching over to another service but wanna still stay in spec ops and i know that making it through training is no guarantee and i fully know what it's like to go through training so my question is basically what kind of rotation for deployment you guy's have and when you are home how much time are you actually at home and not off training somewhere just wondering cause i know on the navy side were never home so i'd just like to hear from any of you guy's on how it really is. Thanks for your time.

The rotation schedule is heavy as there are only 375 CCT's and 400 PJ's in the USAF. Average time TDY/TAD annually amounts to about 150 days for a E-1 through E-7. If your concern is quality-of-life reference a family, then I recommend not seeking a PJ/CCT career. If your marriage/relationship is strong, then by all means give it a shot, but I'd have to say our troops experience a 70% divorce rate (including myself).
