Does anybody have or used one of these? What do you think of it? I'm looking for an ultra-light and small sleeping bag for emergency/survival use to put in a pack that I bring with me on a helicopter. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hi FG;

Go to http://www.wiggys.com/ there's a good bit of information on why NOT to buy this bag. Wiggy is very loud in his opinions about this type of gear...but he's usually right, abrasive but right. While there check out his line, he has some great gear for use in around aircraft.

Take care...Jim

Oh yeah, in his last news letter(Wiggys) he has the last of the insulated Survivors on sale still for $110.00 there will be no more once they're gone. These are great boots been wearing them for the last 2 winters up here in the Rockies.

Take care...Jim

Ask someone in the UK section I think its issue for them.I've got a merlin and swear by it.The 3 rating one is damn small and leaves alot of room in your pack for other goodies.I've got a 6 which is rated to -10C
its not much bigger than a 3.
I always take a bivy bag though.
