New Bonuses for 0321s

MARADMIN 632/06 Which came out 30 Dec 2006 authorizes the following incentives for 0321s with up to FOUR years of broken service:

1. Lump sum bonus up to 60,000
2. Re-enlistment at same rank as discharge with adjust TIS/TIG so as to remain competitive for promotion

This has to be the dumbest thing I have ever heard of. What's to stop a person getting out who already spent all of his cash and looking to make a new life for himself and saying "*&^%$ @(" grabbing the coin - putting it in an offshore account and going to Canada / New Zealand / Amsterdam / Thailand? You can start a new life with that kind of coin.

Unbelieveable. HQMC needs to wake up. Tier step the program. Payout's every couple of yrs. Put the "golden handcuffs" on.
