You're welcome.
On a serious note, they are close to where you are. And they are certainly easy enough to talk with -- no serious ego trips going on -- at least with the guys you will meet out in TN....

What kind of info are you after in particular? If it's about contracting for them in the ME there are people here who can help you out. If it's about their training services take SOTB's advice.

What have you been doing for the last six years? Stuff? I've been doing "stuff" as well. As a matter of fact, I'm looking for a job also. Do you think when you get flooded with answers you can throw one or two my way?
It sure will save me the time of having to use the "SEARCH" button. Or you could just use the "EASY" button. Please ask the Mods about this feature.
MODS- If my post is out of line, delete it. No harm nor foul.

Try and be a little more specific on what information you are after man. If you can't find the info. you are looking for by searching old threads then makes sure you state exactly what you are wanting to know (it might prevent the response you got first time bro ;) ) for example, is it pay and conditions, accomodation, a specific contract, accomodation the company provides at a certain location, guys you will be working on, does the pay go in on time, will the company foot the bill for excess luggage etc.....you catch my drift?

The guys in Arkansas may not know much about overseas contracts, they didn't when I was there, as it's a different wing of the company.
Great training, but they mock Marines relentlessly. :D

At least they didn't bring up the whole "name tape on your ass" deal like some people!

In my experience the ones that bring this up, are of the most questionable character of all. If you catch my meaning. ;)

Don't know if he added this after your post or if it was there all along, but it looks like some of the "stuff" included going to Iraq. So I think that probably is an indicator that he was in Uniform with... 1/278th OIF III.

Is there anything specific you want to know?....some of my team mates are ex Olive....most of the work they do at the moment is Convoy Escort, and not PSD type roles, they did have a contract with GE back in 2005, and were providing LO's on some Power Plants I worked on with Kroll

Already tried to hint to him to be a little specific about what he wants to know, don't think he grasps the concept....I guess he expects someone to write a synopsis on Olive.

Mate, what is it you're aiming to do, Static ,PSD, or Convoys, billeting can be a tent in the middle of nowhere eating rice and chicken for months, or it can be nice plush single berth Cabins, pay also varies, contract you will most likley be armed with an M21 and a sidearm......Rotations can be anything between 8 weeks on and 4 off, to 9 weeks and 3 weeks, again contract depending.
Vehicles, more of the SA types are being used now, like Revas, caspers, Mamba's and Pumas, you may get stuck in a gun truck F350.
Unless you're in the Pipeline for a slot at Olive, which have mostly Brits and some SA's, then you'll be on a standby list,I know they've just picked up a Convoy Gig Down South, for how long I don't know, but if you're talking Olive ME, then it's mostly run by Brits, well it seems this way here in Iraq.
Everything that is relevant to Olive applies to the majority of the PSC's out here, some are good, some are woefully bad, and some should be kicked out and their entire Ops shut down...

I didn't want to start a new thread. Would one of you Olive guys be willing to pm me so that I can verify a person worked/is working over there? Just want a yay or nay, no other info.
