It is with sincere sadness I must report the loss of four of our Navy
brothers.

-Yesterday a team from EODMU11 Det 1 (Whidbey Island, Washington) was transitioning between operating locations when their convoy was hit.

EODC Gregory Biliter

EOD1 Joseph McSween

EOD2 Curtis Hall

-Navy Petty Officer 2nd Class Joseph C. Schwedler, 27, Crystal Falls, Mich.; died Friday in Anbar province; assigned to Navy SEAL Team Four, Virginia Beach, Va. He was a member of an assault force on an urban target.

God....it seems off the top of my head that the East Coast Teams are taking a lot more of the casulties, both combat and non-combat.... It must be some tough times at Little Creek... :(

Sorry for bumping old post up, but just thought I would note that Petty Officer 2nd Class Joseph C. Schwedler was the SEAL KIA next to SEAL "Doug" from my War Stories post. ( http://www.socnetcentral.com/vb/showthread.php?p=908271#post908271 ) Didn't mention his name in the post as it was a story of survival, but Clark (Schwedler) was a hell of an operator and should be remembered for dying as a warrior. RIP Clark... see you in Valhalla.
