These men, helped boost the morale of a nation still reeling from the Surprise, Sneak Attack, against us at Pearl Harbor. Their daring and intestinal fortitude paved the way towards the ultimate goal.....Total Victory.

Least We Forget.

Unescorted strike against enemy capital city, where enemy has best air superiority fighter of the time, and arguably best trained and most experienced fighter pilot of the time.

Fuel for only 1-way trip, most likely they will land in enemy controlled area and enemy is known to torture and kill all prisoners.

The Angels smile on them for their audacity, no? :) Brave aircrew, and their mission rightly makes history.

1st and possibly the biggest PSYOP mission of the war.
Worked wonders, too.

Don't forget little places like Lexington and Concord in on April 19th...Believe there was a "shot heard around the world!" in 1775.

The original "Barrel Chested Freedom Fighters!":D

Thank God for all of America's fighting men that ever served and continue to serve today!!!
