I've seen several ads in the paper for training videos by people that claim to be expert fighters and all. I got 3 videos for $99 from Optimun Training Systems. The tape says Secrets of Modern Professional Warriors. Two of the tapes are on gun, knife, and club disarmament. The 3rd tape was on some fighting moves. The weapon disarmament tapes were very good and easy to learn. They went through it several times from multiple camera angles, and in slow motion. However, I was disappointed in the fighting moves. Overall it wasn't all that it was hyped up to be in the article claiming that they'd teach me to take down a man that's 6 ft 6 250 lbs and soaking wet. I didn't watch all the tapes in the 30 days or I could have returned the tapes for a full refund.

This add Im looking at right now is by Chris Clugston who claims to have won national fighting championship and black belts in multiple type of martial arts. The martial arts being advertised here in Comhrac Bás. He says it's an ancient art used by the gladiators. He's selling 3 hrs of videos for $69 and offers 90 days to return the tapes if i'm not satisfied for a full return.

I'd like to know if anyone has heard of this guy and if you think it's worth buying these tapes. Sometimes I think it'd be better finding some good tapes and just learning stuff that way instead of spending a lot more money and time (which I'm already short on) by going to classes. Thanks for any input.

Ice,
Altough, I cannot personally vouch for this system, try www.defendo.com (http://www.defendo.com)

It appears to be a comprehensive and well organized course of instruction. I am certain that it is better than anything put out by TRS.

Thanks. I checked out the website and it seems pretty good. Which 1 or 2 videos do you think would be good to start with? I was thinking enemy engagement and ground strike.

Since it is labeled "Bricks I-X" I would suggest Brick one.
