Okay, here's my civvy wannabe question of the day:

Years ago, before his career hit a brick wall, Tom Berenger did a movie called Sniper. I'm sure you've all seen it. In some scenes toward the end, he's wearing some kind of olive drab, hooded, long-sleeved, loose-fitting shirt made from some kind of mesh or netting.

I've only ever seen one other like it, and that was at an on-line surplus store. I didn't buy it because it was size extra-small, and I'm a hefty bastard. The description said that it was U.S. military issue, and was supposed to be soaked in Permethrin, IIRC, before use.

Anybody remember these? Did they work? Are they still issued? Know where I can find one or two, preferably in something like size extra-extra-lardass?

Normally, I wouldn't bother you guys with something so poseurish, but Google has given me zilch for several months, now.

No, not that bad. More like a short, outta shape strongman.

So many people take shots at him, and use his pics to take shots at other people, that I wonder if that fat fucker ever regrets having put his pics up on the web.

I also wonder if he had to butter his head to get it into that helmet.

I imagine that if you got one of those inflatable sex dolls, dressed it in camo, hooked it up to an industrial air compressor like they use on tractor tires, and just kept on inflating, the whole thing would look just about like that...right before it popped.

His parents must be so proud... Then again, he looks like he ate them.

I wonder if the rest of his team uses him as a human shield...or a Humvee.
