Ordinary Average Guy

Okay, here's my civvy wannabe question of the day:
Years ago, before his career hit a brick wall, Tom Berenger did a movie called Sniper. I'm sure you've all seen it. In some scenes toward the end, he's wearing some kind of olive drab, hooded, long-sleeved, loose-fitting shirt made from some kind of mesh or netting.
I've only ever seen one other like it, and that was at an on-line surplus store. I didn't buy it because it was size extra-small, and I'm a hefty bastard. The description said that it was U.S. military issue, and was supposed to be soaked in Permethrin, IIRC, before use.
Anybody remember these? Did they work? Are they still issued? Know where I can find one or two, preferably in something like size extra-extra-lardass?
Normally, I wouldn't bother you guys with something so poseurish, but Google has given me zilch for several months, now.
