Just imagine what the home computer (if it will even still be called that) will be like in ten years time, when even that technology is old.

As to this demo, I think the immediate future application will still be a vertical display, as opposed to a "surface view", because it's easier to view. Technology may change, but human eyes haven't. Though the displays will be vertical, they will still be able to interact with other wireless devices without having to have them placed on the screen... they'll simply detect their signal and create an onscreen icon so you can still physically interact with them onscreen.
