The International Association of Bomb Technicians and Investigators, in partnership with the United States Police Canine Association,
Would like to announce a joint opportunity for Bomb Detector Dog
Handlers at the Region 3 Conference in Deadwood South Dakota, September 16-21st, 2007.
Along with our regular conference, which includes a “Historical
Perspective on Black Hills Blasting” seminar, with a trip to Mount
Rushmore and Crazy Horse for Bomb Technicians and Investigators, there
is a ... Dual track program for k-9 handlers, taught by the ATF Canine Training Branch which includes peroxide explosive imprinting,
The National Odor Recognition Test (NORT) Certification
And the USPCA will be conducting a Bomb Detector Dog Certification for
those interested.
Do you want bang for your buck? We have it!
Costs are 275.00 prior to August 25th, (an additional 73.00 to join
the IABTI) with an additional 60.00 for the USPCA Certification test (an
additional 40.00 for membership to the USPCA for non members) After
August 25th, the cost for the conference increases to 325.00 and costs
for the USPCA test remain the same.
Region 3 of the IABTI is proud to announce this first ever joint
training session/certification in cooperation with the United States
Police Canine Association.
