Required skills Requirements:
Candidate must meet physical and psychological screening requirements for designation as a high risk training instructor. Candidate must also be in excellent physical and mental condition to accomplish and evaluate the following water survival swimming and physical skills per established USN standards: Navy survival swims strokes; Jump from 10’ tower and swim 35’ under water; Tread water 2 minutes and drown proof 3 minutes while wearing full Navy flight gear; Swim 75’ while wearing full Navy flight gear; Swim 1 mile while wearing full Navy flight suit (w/in 80 minutes or less); Successfully complete training in Devices 9HI, 9H19, 9F6, 9U44, 9D5, and 9F7; Swim 500 yds in 11 minutes 30 seconds, or less; Score at minimum “Good” on all categories of Navy’s Physical Readiness Training (PRT) Program twice annually during Command PRT; and, Be physically capable of leading arduous swimming and physical training programs. Additional requirements include course completion requirements as follows:
1) Naval Aviation water Survival Instructor’s Course (B-9E-0101) or Navy Basic Swimming and Water Survival Course (BSWSIC) (A-012-1014)
2) U.S. Navy Lifeguard Course (B-300-6010)
3) American Red Cross two person CPR Course
4) Add’l qualifications: * NAUI/PADI Instructor National Association Underwater Instructors/Prof Association Diving Instructors

Candidate should be a graduate of a military instructor training course or equivalent. The Standard is the Navy’s current Instructor Training (IT) course. Trained in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR). Candidate must be qualified to support curriculum Development, Revision, & Maintenance. COMPUTER SKILLS: MS Office Suites skills (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)

Specific Job Description Lockheed Martin Information Systems and Global Service, PAE Division, is looking for an experienced “Survival Instructor” to support an existing U.S. Government FMS aviation training program between U.S. Navy and international customers. These services may be required in various locations in the U.S. and in foreign countries and may include support to foreign governments with formal schools and courses, mobile training teams, and mobile education teams under the aegis of the Security Assistance Training Program (SATP). Candidate must be certified to instruct students in U.S. Navy water survival training and Aviation Preparatory Indoctrination (API) Physical Fitness Program. Person shall also be proficient in instruction of Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD), Basic Underwater Demolition/SEAL (BUD/S) physical fitness regime. Candidate must be able to provide: education and training services; requirement analysis; curriculum design, development, and maintenance; training implementation; consulting and facilitation services; and, capable of conducting individualized remedial instruction, counseling and advice to International Officers in all phases of this training, as required. New Hire and Rehire candidates for this position will be offered the LMOS benefit program. Internal candidates for this position will be able to retain their current benefit program if they are participating in the LMOS, LMES or Corporate benefit programs currently. Standard Job Description Plans, develops, and coordinates in-house product training programs for field support personnel and customers. Obtains information needed to prepare in-house training programs; prepares training materials; develops course content; determines methodology; and coordinates the development of training aids. Conducts training sessions and develops criteria for evaluating effectiveness of training activities. May utilize trainers with technical expertise. Continuously revises lesson plans to meet new training requirements and to keep technical information up to date.

Security Clearance Secret

Typical Minimums Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 3 years of professional experience; or 1 year of professional experience with a related Masters degree. Considered experienced, but still a learner.
