Corrections tactical teams

Just out of curiosity, what do those of you on police/sheriffs/federal tactical teams think of the guys on corrections tactical teams?

Some corrections tactical teams have very different missions from "street" tactical teams, so its like comparing apples and oranges. For example, some specialize in cell extraction, which is a corrections-unique mission. The gear (inverted pin shields, motorcycle helmets, etc.) are more like the stuff I used as a college student working on the Seclusion and Restraint Team (SART) of a psych hospital.

Let me clarify the question then. What do you think of the corections teams that have a mission other than just riot control and cell extractions?

VA, MA, CA, OH, NC and several other states are tasked with recapture of escaped inmates, hostage rescue, high risk prisoner escort, etc.
