This was my front yard Friday Morning in Texas - 20 mi NW of Fort Worth. Got 6" - a record since I've been here. Crazy weather for Texas in March.

We had snow on Monday, a Primary Election on Tuesday, and more snow on Thursday - if I don't see another snow flake or a politician for a while - that'ill suit me just fine.

Great photo....I like yours much better than mine. When that same system rolled through NC it produced this effect right behind my house...I'm very fortunate that the winds were from the West or my garage might have been wearing this.

A little further west, it was snowing/sleeting one day and 80 degrees the next - typical March weather.

when I was in Austin Texas in the late 80's I remember a snow fall Dec or January of 88 or 89. It was a DUSTING. being from chicago I got out, drove where I needed to go etc...
The whole F'n town was shut down. Really like a 1/2 inch of snow.

It was Jan 89. It was NOT a dusting for us Southerner's as it came with several inches and left sheets of black ice on 35N/S. Thank goodness most of the town was closed down so I could slide home to San Antonio:D That must have been you I saw roaming around as I skated by....
