There's a joke in here somewhere - either that or a "disturbed" person.

What possesses someone to sit on the toilet for 2 yrs!??! Not to mention the fact that her boyfriend left her there?

KidA - this wouldn't by chance have been at your house would it? The "visual" on that is kind of disturbing!! :D (Any cross thread points?)

That's pretty crappy to leave her sitting there.....It sounds like her life just swirled out of control.....

I wonder if her face was flushed with embarrassment when the EMS guys arrived...

I thought that when I left Maine, I would never hear about things like this again. It seems I brought the craziness with me to Kansas. This is straight out of that movie "seven". To actually grow into the seat, she would have to be seated fairly still in the same position on the pot day and night for god knows how many days/nights. I think it is amazing that even when she was sleeping, she never budged far enough to dislodge herself. I will take a wild guess that since she was immobile for 2 years sitting perfectly still she was rather large, and the folds...oh god, nevermind. I will probably take the rest of the day to try to get that image out of my mind. He obviously delivered food directly to her while she sat bare assed on the pot, and she obviously never took a shower during that whole time (2 years without a shower?) It would be one thing if she was forced to do this, but to go through that willingly, and to have a "boyfriend" that would allow it? What was the final straw for him, to make him finally call? I understand that she had emotional and mental problems, but even still, for him to not take any action until now? Just when you thought you have heard it all. Just think about the cases we DON'T know about yet. There has got to be some guy out there stuck to his computer chair because he can't break away from the porn. Who knows, he might be on SOCNET.

Seeing as how it's his girlfriend, I wonder if they decided to get married, how the wedding gown would look?

Also - I've heard of having junk in the trunk - but never a toilet seat!!

I would expect this, if it was in FL.

Word I got from one of the Doc's in Wichita said that she lived in the bathroom for two years, but was only sitting on the can for approx two weeks. I don't have all the details yet, but will provide as they become available, of course without violating any of her Hippa rights.

From what I've heard, and read, the female stayed in the head voluntarily. She was not forced to stay by the boyfriend. If that is the case, what could the boyfriend be charged with... stupid is not a crime even in Kansas. Sounds like the female had some serious emotional, psychological issues. Hopefuylly she can get some help while she is recovering from the seatectomy.

Stay Safe.

The boyfriend claims he asked her daily to come out and she would reply, "Maybe tomorrow..."

OK... Two years of this?... Fuck that. Screw just trying to get her out of the bathroom, I'd get her the fuck out of my house!

I don't see how they can charge him with anything.

You guys are being unfair. With a little research you will find that there are many folks out here that really truly enjoy "fatties". Now when you finally find one who has the extraordinary ability to use her snapper in a way that impresses the world, you make fun of her. I say that we introduce her to our own Kid A and he puts her on the back of the Vespa. I am requesting pictures of her as she molds her sweet cheeks around some of that imitation Italian Naugahyde.:D

and the plot thickens.................

Man held responsible for girlfriend staying in bathroom for 2 years

NESS CITY, Kan. - A man whose girlfriend authorities say spent nearly two years in a bathroom in their house, sitting on the toilet so long that the seat adhered to her body, has been charged with mistreatment of a dependent adult.

Kory McFarren, 37, was charged Monday in Ness County District Court.

McFarren called the Ness County Sheriff’s Office in late February to say something was wrong with his girlfriend. When authorities arrived at the home, they found Pam Babcock, 35, stuck to the toilet, which they think she had sat on for about a month.

McFarren told authorities that Babcock feared leaving the bathroom and may not have left it in two years, although said he was unsure how long she was in there. He said that he took her food and water daily, and that he repeatedly asked her to come out but that she usually replied “maybe tomorrow.”

“The only thing I am guilty of is I didn’t get her help sooner,” McFarren told The Associated Press nearly a week ago.

Ness County Attorney Craig Crosswhite said the mistreatment charge most closely fit the situation.

“I looked at the statutes and spoke to the attorney general’s office,” he said. “This was a very unusual set of circumstances, and this is the law that most closely applied to the situation.”

Authorities said Babcock sat on the toilet so long that open sores developed and caused her to become attached to the seat. Sheriff Bryan Whipple has said that he used a pry bar to remove the seat from the toilet, and that the woman was taken to the hospital with the seat still attached.

“She would have to be sleeping on the toilet,” Whipple said.

Doctors at a Wichita hospital where Babcock was taken told McFarren that an infection in her legs had damaged her nerves and could leave her in a wheelchair. She was still at the hospital Wednesday night.

McFarren’s first court appearance will be in April, Crosswhite said.

When did this country get away from personal accountability? Never mind - what was I thinking?

....has been charged with mistreatment of a dependent adult.

Had she been judged unstable? Or, am I misinterpreting this definition?

Imagine the case of hemorrhoids she must have had if she sat on the pot that long.
And she didn't wash.
I wonder if the boyfriend made her keep rubbing lotion into her skin.

Just when I thought this couldn't get any stranger.

It seems the boyfriend has won $20,000 from the KS state lottery - not once - but twice this year!!

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/27073475/

GREAT BEND, Kan. - A Kansas man whose girlfriend was physically stuck to the toilet in their home has won $20,000 in the state Lottery, for the second time this year.

Kory McFarren cashed in his winning $2 Bonus Crossword ticket in Great Bend Monday. On July 29, the 37-year-old received six months of probation after pleading no contest to misdemeanor mistreatment of a dependent adult.

McFarren called deputies in February to report that his girlfriend, Pam Babcock, had refused to come out of the bathroom for two years. Authorities found her stuck to the toilet.

Medical personnel estimated Babcock had been on the toilet for at least a month and said the seat had adhered to sores on her body. She was released from a Wichita hospital after several months of treatment.
