View Full Version : CINCINNATI RIOTS AND AFTERMATH

ALPHA 2
29 May 2001, 00:42
Well, I heard from the media the police officer responsible for the shooting of the so-call "Un Armed" Black man which spark the riots during this year easter was charged . There is also a lot of rumors in the media that claim about 12 Black suspects being shot by cops last year alone and some residents cliam the Police force has harassed them like this for 30 years! They said the city force is nearly all white, but I did saw some African american Cops in the force in TV. Some LE expets siad that this incident was cracy and the city and the police force was being blackmail into finding a scapegoat for this incident so another riot won't break out!(The rioters weren't all Black, but a fair number of Whites were involved inthe rioting) This incident could be a blow For CINCINNATI police force. What do you LE guys think?

I will lay odds that this turns into another 14 page/554 response thread. Then again, I could be wrong....

I do not know the specific details of the Cincinatti shooting, so I will not comment on the indictment of one of the Officers. I will, however, state that I hope he receives a fair trial (and is a member of the FOP).

On a related issue, I will say that few, if any, of the individuals who are involved in the rioting and protesting were present on the night in question. None of them are in possession of all of the facts, and none were forced to make a life and death decision on that night. It has become an unfortunate trend that a large section of our society not only does not trust the police, but holds an active dislike for the individual officers.

Good luck to these Officers,

I posted this last year. It was about a similar incident. My feelings haven't changed. Maybe it's time to look for a new line of work. I hate people.

Man, sometimes I just feel like giving it up. Fuck it. Let somebody else fight these asshole criminals. More money to be made in just about any other field anyway. Lets just get rid of LE totally. Every man for himself. Somebody sexually molests your five-year old daughter. Fuck it. Shoot the sonofabitch. Whats that? The judge don't like it? Fuck it, kill him too. Shoplifter? Bang. Problem solved. Speeding? Bang. Yeah, fuck it. Who needs all those asshole cops out there gunning down those innocent people who just had a bad childhood anyway? Wish we could do it and see how they like it. Somebody murdered my wife! Call 911! "911....what is your emergency?"... "Someone just murdered my wife!"... "Well, fuck you, deal with it, we aint coming." Click. Your ten year old was just given some crack to try at his middle school. (LOL) heres a quarter fucker! Go call somebody who gives a rats ass. (I'm really starting to enjoy this...)I'd like to see every cop in the nation just walk in to the chiefs office one day and say, "Hi chief, fuck you very much, I quit". Throw their gunbelts on the floor and walk out. Not a strike mind you cause we cant strike. But they couldn't stop us from quitting. I'm getting pissed off now so I better get off here. (SCREAM)

FOLKS,

I'm not a police officer, but I do support Law Enforcement. I have thought the same things as many of you have. I know this is a military quote, so please bear with me. This quote may be thought of when we all feel like giving up.

Guys,

One thing to keep in mind is that the whole Cincinatti thing is perpetuated by the victimization industry made up of the race and class warlords (Jackson, Sharpton, et al), media, and bleeding-heart liberal do-gooders. Without this kind of thing to bitch about they have no purpose. So they will always fan the flames. It's always about the money.

bd, out.

My actual last name is 5, so it's entirely possible that we're related.

Hey yall, the strangest thing happened to me the other day. Me and my partner were walking back into the office in one of those "why do we put up with this s@#$ moods" when this lady walked up to me. She stopped me and said, Detective i just want to thank you. You saved my family." She then gave me a tupperwear bowl of cookies.
Now me being the cynical cop I looked at this woman like she was nuts trying to figure out why she looked familiar. I thanked her(bear in mind i still didnt know what the hell she was talking about) took the cookies and asked her for her name. She told me and when i got back to my desk i did a name search and found a report with her name on it.
It seems that i had worked a case where her daughter had run off. She was a single parent and basicly all she had in the world was her daughter. Well the night was slow so i busted my ass and found her daughter. It didnt seem like that big of a deal to me but it was to her.
That one moment of kindness made me remember something my FTO told me. Every call may be minor and bulls!@& to you but not to that victim. That woman keeps me going through the day.

What Sharky You don't want work for
"I get in & Naturalization service" any more.
Just think the postal workers might get better guns, Sundays off and Who wants to bother or throw rocks at them. But then You would miss all the fun. Green is a better color. Look at how much these scum bag immigration lawyers make. That's an idea. Hmmmm...

I don't Hate All the People I'm sure there is one or two I like. I just haven't met them yet. I used to think I was the only one who felt that way.

Thumbs up to You street cops out there. I have a nice easy "Law Enforcement" job(if You can call it that). I think I reached the point were I just didn't give a Shit anymore, a While ago. so keep it up

I almost can't read the paper or watch the news without getting Mad. Maybe people will wake up, maybe not. Either way I still get paid.

I wish the Officer(s)who have had to make those decisions well. Weather your right or wrong you still lose.

I think we have a front row seat to life...
It's the greatest job on earth...It's a job were you see too much of life the dark side
but I can not think of a job I would rather
do...It's the best...we all experience burn
out at times but we must remember why we got
into the field...No other job allows you to
get paid and have this much fun...And you know like in geometry every one has an angle
and for the most part is an dink...
