Has anyone had good luck with knock off EO tech, aimpoint etc? My brother has an M4 and as I don't have one at the moment, I put my surefire, EO tech, rails etc on it. I am taking my stuff back to throw on an SLR95 I just picked up and want to replace the toys on his piece without spending real money. He never bets his life on it, only hog hunts a few times a year, are there any knock offs out there that would work? Thanks.
Some guys play around with them here ; http://www.canadiangunnutz.com/forum/index.php

Bushnell makes a good holo sight.Worked great for me for 4 yrs now survived the sandbox.BSA makes a red-dot sight both are short money.

I've had pretty good luck with my Tacpoint sight (Aimpoint clone that was made in japan if I recall correctly).
Never failed on me and I tested it in -30°C canuckistan weather. It was also brighter than my real deal aimpoint ML3.
It's gathering dust right now and I won't be building any other rifle soon so if you want to try it just shoot me a pm.

You just saved a buddy of mine some money. Thanks

In fact, the Holosight was out before the EOTech.
