Hello gents: I currently have a opportunity to do a selection course with MVM. I have heard that their selection course is very demanding specially with the Glock 17.
I currently live in the L.A. area and I am looking for a good 3 day handgun course. Better safe than sorry.
Please Advise (never to cool for school)

I'm not aware of any schools that cater specifically to training for that type of selection. My recommendation would be get involved with a local club and attend some IPSC courses. Give TFTT, FTA, and ITTS a call and ask.

International Tactical Training Seminars (ITTS) is out your way. Scotty Reitz is one of the founders/instructors of that school house. Can’t speak for what they/he are doing these days but back in the day when there was no SOTG in the Marne Corps he put us through five weeks of CQB when he was with LAPD (SWAT). He can do what he teaches, but more importantly is a great instructor. I am sure they will offer something that will aid you in your goal.

Check out LMS Defense, they have classes around the country.

Second on Scott Reitz, he is an excellent instructor and they have their courses primarily in the LA area.
