I am going to be flying back east in the next few months in a duty related matter. I havnt checked around yet, but I was told I may need to take a 2-3 hour course to carry my duty weapon on the plane. I am in So. Cal. Any info on this or where they offer the course?

Check with almost any of the FED agencies in your area. Most BP stations are still doing the training so maybe you could sit in on one. I would also suggest contacting the airline a few days out and finding out exactly what will be required at the check-in. I know you'll need documented proof of the training and a letter on departmental letterhead with the chief's signature justifying your need to fly armed. Beyond that, I really don't know.

You can always count on the Shark-man to come through with some direction. Thanks.
I'll get a hold of the Temecula Station BP.
