For all of you youngsters, you can thank Bo Diddley not only for inspiring cadences, but for the Rock and Roll you love so much.

Rest in peace. It is a real tragedy that he never had rights to his own music. For all of those years he never got a penny from royalties. You didn't see him piss and moan in front of the public. Cheers mate, your music inspired many.

I have a really cool CD that includes some stuff that Bo Diddley did back in the day. People have no idea where the concept for a lot of modern music comes from.

RIP Bo Diddley...

A true icon of rock and roll. Had five Bo Diddley albums when I was young. Wish I still had them.

RIP
I never heard any of his stuff until after I learned that some of Thoroughgood's songs were covers. As is usually the case, the originals were better.

If he wasn't the true father of rock and roll, I don't know who was. RIP Bo.

Makes me feel just like I did when I heard about Stevie Ray Vaughn :(

So many have left us, makes me very sad. I fondly remember the old days when many of them were still here making great music.
