To all you enlisted Spec.Ops personnel,
I am trying to start the only museum in Australia solely devoted to the men and women who serve with Special Operations units World Wide.
What I am asking the serving and retired vets is to please help me collate informationm, personal Spec.Ops. paraphenalia (uniforms, BDU's, surplus, etc.) and anything else that can help me with exhibits.
Your help is the only thing that will get this idea off of the ground.
If you are interested in giving my idea a helping hand please reply to:
austeyr@specialoperations.com
with what assistance you may be able to offer to this unique exhibit.
Your help is greatly appreciated.

One post is sufficient to get our attention. Spamming the board is not necessary!

Sorry about spamming but I have had this idea for such a long time with no one interested enough in it to help me make it reality.
I just need all the help I can get.

Ever thought about asking Tom for permission to post on several channels simultaneously before actually cluttering up the entire board for a day? I am not alone when I say that seeing your multiple posts is quite annoying.
I thought only Americans were famous for having bad manners overseas. Think about it.
G day
have you thought about asking the australian War museum or the Australian Special Air Service for help or exhibit pieces.
Retro.

I have contacted the SEAL's and the Military museum in america, both which were not too much help. I still haven't heard anything from the SEAL's PAO and I was sent just a message with liks in it from the museum.
I'm not sure who or how I would contact the SAS or any other services in Australia and I am putting in a request form to the Nescafe Big Break competition to try and win a cash grant to fund the museum. I am only 18 but in my thougths the soldiers that are with Spec.Ops units internationally need something unique to reflect their services and make the public more aware that there are not just soldiers but specialist soldiers aswell.
I need all the help I can get and thankyou all for offering some sort of assistance.
Regards,
Austeyr556.

Smith,
For some reason I can't email you and your email address is invalid. Please email me at austeyr@specialoperations.com with your phone number and I will give you a call.
I am thinking about contacting the National war museum to see what they may be able to help me with but I'm not sure on how to contact the SASR, Commando Regt etc.
Regards,
Austeyr.
