The site is on Australia's Elite Units it will be about SASR Clearance Diving 3rar and 4rar. (i know 3rar dosnt have a good reputation at the moment but they r still elite). I already have a fair bit of info about SASR because of the texts i have but i wouldnt mind a little bit for TAG/OAT.

And any info including History weapons operations selection criteria for 3RAR 4RAR and Clearance Diving would be appreciated.

The site is at http://www.geocities.com/eliteausforces/ i was also thinking about adding the reserves comando regiment. what ya think.

o btw im 16 yrs old i want to join the army preferably through RMC. And see what happens from there i will hopefully give SAS selection a go because i am obsessed with it.

Hey guys, i can help with the selection criteria for Clearance Divers. I am 17 and am joining the navy and will be going to HMAS Creswell at the start of next year. For officers you first have to join as a SMN(seaman) Officer. After you have finished getting your BWC (bridge watchkeeping certificate, takes about 2 years to complete), you are then aloud to sub-categorize. You can select PWO(Principle Warfare Officer), Submarines, Hydrography, M/W (Mine Warfare) and finally MCDO(Mine Clearance Diving Officer). MCDO is a combination of M/W and Clearance Diving. The branch is only available for females, although the females can sub-specialize in M/W. The physical test seems pretty easy.... just go to for all the information for General Entry and selection standards. http://www.defencejobs.defence.gov.au/navy/ngcd.htm
