First, you cannot chose D-Team. They choose you.
Your best bet is to go through Ranger School or SFAS and SFQC.
If you make it and instructors think you are the type that can reperesent Delta you will be invited to try out.
That is no guarantee you will make it.
And there is no volunteering.
It is invitation only.

That is incorrect. SFOD-D is voluntary.

You mean there is no SFOD-D officers? I knew NCOs virtually led the Army but to this point...
