This is on a telecomm ad on German TV, not sure if it's anywhere in the U.S. (since I'm not there...) did a word search before posting.

I don't even like opera that much unless it's the Bugs Bunny cartoon version, :D but my reaction was ''WhoTF IS this guy???'' The impact on the audience is immediate and obvious, bringing some to tears faster than CS could. The chick on the judges panel sure felt it. Enjoy.

Some Friend tell me to watch this. Normally, I have no interest in these show.

But I am told that for this Man to have this voice with no extensive formal training, it is very amazing. So maybe now he finds his place. Good luck to him.

Also, he make the 'smirking' judges look like the idiot (which they are too often)- so he has my respect for that. And the contrast of his teeth and his voice- ;)

THis is actually from last season, in which Paul Potts won the show. He now has a CD out and is under contract with Simon Cowell. Its not a bad CD...my wife and I are both big fans. We both had the exact same reaction when we first saw this.

OOC, out

I went to college with this guy. One of the nicest dudes you could ever meet. Check out his version on "America's Got Talent." It choked me up....

He's no opera singer but dude has a hell of a voice to have no formal training - especially to choose Puccini's Nessun Dorma aria. Good stuff.

I posted this a few months ago. His career has really taken off. He is actually being considered to replace Pavarotti as the third of the 3 tenors.

Its a neat story.

This one is still probably the best I have seen. I heard he has a show in Vegas now.

I hope that's a joke or misunderstanding. Given what celebrity star-fuckers people are, I can see it being true though.

Dude has a voice, a hell of a voice, but he's no replacement for Pavarotti and isn't worthy of standing (permanently) next to Carerras and Domingo.
