For all the CIA hopefuls out there:

And I thought they just pushed you out into Red Square and shot you...

He was a retired U.S. Naval officer, not a retired CIA operative.

I know he was. The point is, as far as he and the US claims, he's a businessman that just used to be in the Navy. All I'm saying is the crime he's accused of is one that someone in the CIA could conceivably be caught doing.

He's been convicted of spying on Russia. Seems like you might do a little spying if you worked for the CIA, and it seems like if caught, this could be your fate. I just threw it out there as something to think about.

Hey, I know that guy, he lives in my town. He was convicted but then got a presidential pardon. Too bad Ross Perot's hotline wasn't stilla round during the trial though.
