I feel sorry for her, and him. She lost a child. I know how that feels, and I know the great temptation to overcompensate with other children, to take care of them and try to safeguard them against the world. It's not easy to resist.

He has his own show called the "Half ton Teen". Forgot what channel but it follows his stay in a hospital in Texas and the surgery/med care he goes through.

If the mother truly loved him she would not have allowed her son to eat his way to obesity, this is a great example of what is wrong with the kids today, their parents.

If this mom had given a gun to her son as a child to play with because she "couldn't say no" to him and he'd killed himself we'd be saying how she needed to be shot for being an unfit parent. Instead she feeds him half to death and it's a pathetic sob story?

Fuck her, fuck him....Ditto. Whatever excuses he had as a child, he lost when he became of an age to reason and make decisions.

If this were a kid who poured gas in his room and lit it to watch it burn, we would call him a loser (at the least). If he raped other kids, we would have no sympathy. Kids are able to rationalize right and wrong. That we don't hold them accountable -- is OUR fault.

No sympathy for EITHER of them....

Note to self: No, there is NOT room for another cupcake.

One positive aspect: It seems he's now taking responsibility for his situation and he's doing what is clearly necessary. Kudos.
