Everything you need to prepare for CDQC should be taught to you in pre-scuba. If you want more preparation, swim laps with a 16 pound weight belt, and get really good at drownproofing. Run, Run and Run more. Good luck Cadet.

I just want to make sure I'm ready for pre-scuba before I go there... thanks for the tips.
