HEY DOES ANYONE KNOW WHERE I CAN GET MILL. SPEC SURPLUS DIVE GEAR... IE WET SUITS, MASKS, FINS , PFD, ETC.. ALSO I WOULD LIKE TO FIND SOME RE BREATHER UNITS CONDITION NOT IMPORTANT......

they sell Navspec dive gear,such like that used by NAVSPECWAR personnel including fins,masks,booties etc

im not sure about military surplus... but for the most part the military uses commercial dive gear-- jet fins, masks etc etc...

US Divers makes a whole line of civilian, law enforcement, and military dive gear (http://www.aqualung.com). That's almost exclusively what I use. Don't get gear just because it's mil-spec. You need to try on gear and get what's best (what fits) for you. I use USD because it works for me. Remember, you trust your life to your equipment so get the best. The last place you want to have improper gear is working at 100 ft in bad visibility.
For example, your mask is a very important piece of gear. You should always try on a mask before you get it. Make use it will hold lightly to you face without any leaks (without the strap on). And get a low-volume one that's easy to clear. If you are working as an LE or military diver, get a mask that fits and just get the color black. Other dive equipment should be considered like this as well.
I say all of this because I've watched a lot of people get gear because it "looks cool" only to find out that performance beats that cool look every time.
