Yup... Jorma Kaukonan and Jack Cassidy. (probable spelling errors there, but I'vbe been drinking a bit tonight)
Saw a t shirt the other day:
If you don't know Jorma,
You don't know Jack.

I try and kayak every other weekend, in SC been on the Edisto, Stono, and Ashley River's, out to Bull island on Cape Romain and in the Atlantic, in NC Nuese(this weekend) and Eno river, Cape Fear before the year is done.
I'll hike a portion of the "mountains to the sea trail" around Asheville in the fall, with a bit of trout fishing thrown in on breaks.

My time off - Photography; everything from nature and wildlife to "Instant Ancestors" where you shoot re-enactments or local events such as "Frontier Days" or "Gold Rush Days" then using computer software age the pictures to look like they were shot during the period. Its not as easy as it sounds as you have to be something of a history buff to be able to remove all the 20th/21st century anachronisms so the pictures look real.

Time off is spent with my family. We go ride bikes, go for hikes around the State and National Parks, Ski in Tahoe in the winter etc. Pretty active family and I don't ever want to think of myself and my girls as couch potatoes.
Life is too short. So much to see, so little time.
This year's goal is to "discover" northern VA with the Mrs and then Ski in Canada with the whole family.

Working around the new house & going to youth football games. Looks like my son will be playing for both the county rec league and the middle school this year (yes, he'll be playing for both teams; ha ha ) so we'll be spending every weekend at some type of sporting event.

being a firefighter I have plenty of time off. My neighbors think I'm retired. I spend 2-3 hours a day on my bike, and now that the cool fall weather is approaching I'll be doing some camping with friends.
