It appears to me as a standard M3 semiauto with a weaver rail and a fancy stock...

The M4 is actually based on a different operating system than the M3 or M1 Super-90s. In fact, the M4 is the ONLY Benelli GAS-operated shotgun. I don't have the exact specs, but you might try www.benelli-usa.com (http://www.benelli-usa.com) and see if they have any info yet.
