CBC is good....Mark Divine owns it. The Slamburger at Danny's is amazing!! I like Island Pasta for pizza/Italian food (in Coronado).

Thats Trophy Lounge...

The Tango Lima!! It's LBFM territory. A few "Westpac Widows" are there...Thursday/Sunday nights. I haven't been there in awhile. I don't recover like I used to. The Star Bar is good too. There's Island Spirits&The Little Bar on the North end of Coronado. They are nice bars, not to crowded.

And I do... but preferably under 50. :biggrin: Although there was one younger girl that worked there occasionally who was pretty smoking. I liked it for the cheap booze and laid back atmosphere. We actually got asked to leave last time I was there (2007 or so) because my buddy kept falling asleep. I wouldn't have though it was possible to get kicked out of there for being too drunk.

was at Ruby's today with the wife,eating at their Carlsbad location,some big outlet store the wife likes.ran into a former Marine and his wife.he was a Korean veteran and second cousin to John Basilone.they were in town from NJ seeing his son in law(LT Col,flies Cobras)just back from the sandbox.

at MCRD today,family day.the wife is off to the mall by the border.we had lunch with a former Marine.he is a san diego county sheriff.worked out this morning at the MCRD gym,of course.
joining us for lunch too was a young widow who lost her husband a few years ago in Iraq. i think he was EOD? she lives in Arizona and is doing well.

the pilot flying us from SD to OKC was an former AF pilot-F-4s and A-10(first Gulf War)we talked for awhile.when our plane took off from the layover in Houston he made sure i had a glass of wine or beer,on him.
