The security in my office here in Kabul has been a hybrid of two different firms, one of them being BSS. The BSS team leader has been with us for 5 years. He is headed to try and make a life for himself in the states in a couple weeks. He's got his greencard and is going to be pursuing a citizenship. Does anyone have suggestions for potential employment opportunities for him in the Virginia area (hes willing to go anywhere there is a job, but he's flying into Newport News as hes got a couple friends there).

Hes fluent in English. He has been trusted with the lives of U.S. civilians, service members, and sensitive information for over five years. I personally have enjoyed my time working with him and trust him with my life without exception.

Any suggestions for getting him started on the right foot? I know he's interested in LE/Security type work, but I'm honestly not sure whats available to him without citizenship.

Thanks in advance.

Most of the LE gigs in this area are going to require him to get US citizenship. As far as security jobs are concerned, anything that pays a living wage, is going to be with US Government, a government contractor, or something similar.

Also, a lot of the agencies in this area are facing budget cuts, and several have hiring freezes in place (they're taking apps, but holding off on hiring for the moment). If you want, shoot me a PM, and I'll see what I can find out for you.
