I havn't been hearing a lot about the JTF-2.
Here are some questions I have about them if anybody knows the answer.
1. Which force are they part of. Army, Navy, or Air Force?
2. Do you need to speek both official languages to qualify?
3. Do they have an offical webpage?
Please answer me those questions. If you have any more information about the JTF-2, I would like to hear it.

1) It is part of the DND National Defence Ministry
2) Are everyone in the Canadian military required to speak English and French?

JTF-2 is a mixed force with personnel from Army, Navy, and Air Force. Probably the majority of JTF members are Army, but a large number would also be Navy Clearance Divers and Air FOrce Search and Rescue Techs (the two other elite units)
Bilinguliasm isn't needed, but is defintley an asset - a working knowledge of English is probably needed, and for officers speaking French and English would be a huge asset since their men would speak both languages. Has anyone heard of JTF-2 being divided up on the basis of language? For example, the rest of the Forces as French and English units. Does JTF have a French squadron perhaps?
No website, no... But DND does acknowledge their existence, and they're widely known about within the Forces. There was a big media thing last year about them, with some video being shown.

I checked out that webpage. That was really useful. But I'm puzzled about something that I read in it. Can females join the JTF-2? I have never seen female join any spec ops forces.

Yes females can join, as long as they can pass selection. Yes there are women in other spec ops units as well worldwide(or so I've heard.
If you check out the webpage on the international counterterrorist links on the specialoperations.com mainpage you can get to a page which has videos, PT Test and a breakdown of their selection phases.

Is there any known rank restrictions for enlisted and officers for joining JTF-2?
Cole,
I know that anybody from Private to Major can try out for JTF-2.
