Saw this one last night at a midnight showing. This is the funniest movie I've seen in a long time. Excellent plot, dialogue and characters. I was captivated from the first minute. If you thought the trailer looked promising, mulitply that by a thousand. This now my favorite zombie movie of all time. Also includes a list of rules for surviving zombies (#1= Cardio, #2= Double tap). I was in agony for the last 40 minutes because I didn't want to miss a minute to take a leak.

I saw it today. Pretty good. I liked Shawn of the Dead a lot and this one was similar. A good cameo in it too, although we are not supposed to mention who it is. They showed the trailer for 2012, and that one looks exceptional.

I would still use it as an excuse. This film stresses the importance of Hi Cap weapons.

Outstanding movie.
I liked Rules # 17 and 32.
Definitely watch it.
OH, and the cardio rule was awesome too.

Half way through the movie I stopped drinking my drink because I read this sentence before I went and saw the movie. Thanks for the heads up.

Great movie. As a much as I can't stand Woody Harrelson the movie was definitely worth it. My wife now understands why I have so much ammo.

I'm even happier.. last night I got out my muzzleloading "do everything box" and was going to give my gun a good once over cleaning. (Deer season is open for us now and today is doe day). Anyway, I open my box and what do I see? A bandolier of 30.06 ammo that I've been looking for, 3 - 30 round mags for my Mini14 and 2 - 5 round mags plus a box of .223 ammo. I'm like "What the hell is all of this doing in here".. I look over at my wife who's watching tv.. innocently gives me a side look.... Well.. the bright side is that I have extra mags that I thought I lost in case the zombies come! Now I have to go and buy more tracer ammo!

I can't do natural disaster movies. They have no incentive for me to watch as there is no way that you can "fight" against whatever action mother nature is taking. I'll just stick with John's Grosse Point Blank.

Saw it last night, one of the funniest movies I've seen in years. I am not a huge fan of Woody either, but he did awesome in this. Also, there's a few twists that make the whole thing even better.
This is one I may buy.

Saw it tonight. Fucking hilarious. Must see for everyone.
Very well paced. Girl is hot. Best of all...
Lots of brain-loving-zombies and lots of guns to shoot them with.
Good fun when you're stuck in Georgia.

Great movie. Great FX.
Favorite line...."This Twinkie thing...it aint over!"
Cameo was a shocker...a good one!

There is also a fairly good indie film out called "Dead Snow". I believe it's a dutch film about a group of med school students who take off to the mountains for a weekend trip of fun and who ultimately get completely destroyed by a group of Nazi Zombies. Med school student+snowmobile+mg42 = badass.

Trying to convince my boss that it's worth swallowing his dislike of Woody Harrelson to play this for one of the team movie nights.

I hate Woody Harrelson, but he was good in this and I really liked the movie.

I liked it for the most part, the beginning cracked me up. Shades of current events with somebody being chased across the field of an empty stadium. Fatties were the first to go.
Started to fade a little toward the end, but overall the best zombie comedy flick I've ever seen.
It might be the only zombie comedy flick I've ever seen, although Romero has done a pretty good job of slipping in some funny moments into his movies.

If anyone hasn't seen it yet, there's one segment that makes the whole movie worth the price of admission. You all know which one.

Ah....you mean the cameo with John Holmes (from the use of CGI) where he has "back there" sex with Zombie Oprhah? Yes.....awesome!

Just saw it last nite via Netflix, Tallahassee's sidearm is a nice homage to Steve McQueen's character from Wanted: Dead or Alive. I am going for my cardio before the riots from Oakland start to spread east.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned one of the other definite good points of this film, namely the actress Emma Stone, who was also in Superbad. I think she's hot as hell, and just love her husky voice!
This is probably my favourite film of last year. Love it.

I keep meaning to, still haven't gotten around to it. Just saw another zombie/living dead DVD available, listed under the comedy heading, entitled I Sell the Dead, starring the Charlie character from Lost.
Looks good, might have to give it a spin along with Shaun of the Dead.
I really wish Bill Murray had survived in Zombieland. Maybe if they do a sequel, they'll find some way to bring him back.

I'll have to watch it again, I think I missed that scene. Just the thought of it makes me laugh, though.
