Here's the details on the next exercise LYNXCLAW (also know as the Fallschirmjager Cup). All rations, accomodations, travel in Germany free. Weapons availible on site (HK G-36) For section plus officer and warant size teams.

ANNOUNCEMENT
FOR THE INTERNATIONAL INFANTRY CONTEST
OF THE PARATROOPER CUP
LUCHSKRALLE 2000
1. Situation of the exercise
The Defence District Command 31 (GE) conducts within the military assistance the infantry contest „Luchskralle 2000“. The competition leads over a hilly terrain of 15 km where several tasks have to be solved from the following fields:

 mapreading, compass, sketch
 obstacles course
 estimating distances
 grenade throwing
 shooting
 first-aid
 combat-engineer skills
 N B C
 Cross country march

Valuation
The single tasks will be evalated. The march will be evaluated as a task.
The following prices will be awarded:
 the paratrooper cup for the winning team (tasks and march)
 a price for the best team fullfilling the tasks
 a price for the fastest team
 a price for the best team (shooting)
 a price for the best team (obstacles course)

3. Participants
Participants are active and reserve soldiers of the German armed forces,the German police teams from our allied forces from Belgium, Italy, France, Greek, Great Britain, USA,
and also from Austria and South Africa

4. Dress/Kitt
Combat-dress in accordance with specific national regulations, including field jacket, cap, rucksack with 10 kg load, water bottle, compass for the teamleader

5. Logistics
accomodation and first-aid will be supplied by VBK 31. Rations will be supplied by FschSpGrp 273.
