Here is bit of an odd question. I'm getting some morons telling me that time in cadets counts towards your CD.

This can't be true...can it?

I've heard that too but I'm not sure. I think I'll ask someone at work tomorrow. If I would of known that I would of joined cadets then joined the militia when I was 17.
I guess joining when I was 17 was still pretty good, little bit of extra time for my career.

We have a cpl in the unit who was given 6mos "time in" credit for his cadet service when he joined.

No idea. Must of been a while as he had made it up to some WO rank like cadet CSM or such.
