AC Coast Guard is tip top, did some ocean water survival training with some of those guys. I met a 16 pilot at the wing there who was former enlisted AF CCT. Prayers out.

If it was one of the planes that landed safely then thats a good sign

However a single-engine fighter (centerline thrust) may have a rough go of it.
I hope the pilot ejected after pointing the Falcon east over the Atlantic.

Last update in the Charleston news was that the lack of locator beacon suggests that there was no ejection.

Prayers out for the Capt. and the family.
Doesn't the aircraft itself have a beacon?
The found a debris field.

There is a beacon that is tied into the ejection system.

Should be activated on man/seat separation, it's in the parachute's pack tray...so that would just be for the pilot.
I have no SA on if the bird has one or not.
Hoping he's found...
