Just picked up a copy of fortune's Warrior by James R. Davis, the guy who wrote the Sharp End.
Davis has gone over to the private security industry and this is exactly what the new book is all about.
Just thought I'd let someone know.

I'm on the last chapter of the book. It is a very insightful book on the security/merc. industry. This morning James Davis was on Canada AM talking about his book. Loved his first book the Sharp End. I read it when I was 16, got it signed at the Oromocto Mall when he was there promoting his book.

The guy seems pretty arogant to me, still haven't read his book as anyone I know that was in the Regiment hated it.
I saw him on Canada AM as well though. He seems to be a "CBC Expert" now.

I don't know.
His first book seemed o.k. to me. But then again I had nothing to compare his experiences against as I was never in the Airborne.
From his writing he seems a little too self-confident, I'll give you that. Likes to think he's a great expert. I don't think he was even in the Regiment that long, didn't do the AIC. But The Sharp End was entertaining.
