Terrorist attack in Yemen on s US ship.
Two Israeli soldiers beat to death in Palestine. Iraqi troops moving towards the border. Does this mean that we should dust off the desert boots or just another day in the Middle East. Any opinions?

I think it's a little too early to tell how serious the situation in the Middle East is right now.
Both here in Canada and in the U.S. there are potential or ongoing elections.Clinton has always likened himself to be a mediator. I doubt he'll start taking sides. Canada or Britian won't get into the fighting unless America does and I doubt even then we'd doo too much. Look the Gulf War.
This comes at a bad time. In America they'll have a new president in three weeks and here in Canada there is potential for a change of the guard. At the very least Foregin Affairs Minister Lloyd Axworthy is not running next election.
There is some talk of a peacekeeping mission, but right now there is no peace to keep.
In final, it's too early to tell.

Someone just chucked a bomb into the British Embassy in Yemen. Something big is going down. strangely the news mentioned the bomb had a diesel generator.
