Wow... If Alabama is still number 1 after that game...
Alabama played horribly. It's only a stroke of luck in the last 4 seconds, with the field goal attempt by Tenn, Alabama blocked the ball and the clock ran out.

watched it on my slingbox.
I dont think AL could have made more mistakes in the last 4 minutes. If TN had any sort of field goal kicker, AL would have lost.

In the last 4 minutes? Every aspect of that game was done half ass and the play calling at the end of the half was crap. I am so happy Bama has next weekend off, hopefully they will get some energy because they looked asleep in that game.

Saban looked disgusted in his post game press conference, as well he should.
Bama will lose if they play like this against Auburn. Shameful.

After watching Auburn's last 2 games and the current game, I am not really worried about Auburn, I am worried about LSU in 2 weeks. If our offense doesn't straighten itself out it will be a long game.
When did Alabama become #1; I thought FL was #1 in the polls?

Being a former Vol, I think 'Bama's poor play was due to UT's good play and game plan. Crompton looked like a D1 QB for the second week in a row. A streak for him.

Alabama is 1 in the AP, Florida is 1 in all the others. Although honestly I don't care about the rankings at this point in time, Alabama's fate is in their own hands, same goes for Florida and Texas. If Alabama and Florida both stay unbeaten, they will meet in Atlanta and the winner will play Texas (if they stay unbeaten) in Pasadena.

As has been stated, the Vols won the game last night if they had had a better FG kicker. We also had 10 penalties to Bama's 1, which was pathetic. And (being a die-hard Vol fan) Cody threw his helmet off during the middle of the last play of the game, which should have resulted in a re-kick, but the refs did nothing. Oh well. I was happy with the way we played. Crompton looked good for the 2nd game in a row which I hope continues for the rest of the season.

When I said "being a die-hard Vol fan", I meant I was bringing up the point because I was the fan. Apologize for the wrong wording :)

Players are allowed to remove helmets after the game.
Time had expired. The ball was already dead. Truth hurts. Watch the film.

In rivalry games like this rankings don't mean shit. UT had 2 weeks to prepare and looks like they are buying into Kiffin's system. Crompton's surrogate once again made some big time throws. The future looks good and getting rid of fat Phil was the way to go. If we could only get the Titans to clean house as well.
I still think Bama and Florida are the two best teams in the country and should make for an an awesome game in Atlanta.
