Reg force courses

once in the reg force, how available are courses such as , recce, jump, etc.Are those courses given out on a regular basis or is it next to impossible to get. Now i have heard that some units have a jump platoon. is this true. Finally regarding JTF, when applying to try out for JTF, do the recruiters want you to have certain skills already, or do they take all applicants in no matter age or experiance and put them through the physical and interviews leading up to selection.thanks for any info

courses depend on what's running and what the battalion needs..driver[lav] is pretty common, but the occasional recce, or mortar is floating around..you could get basic para but don't expect to go to para coy even if you are in the lib...as for jtf it's exactly what the canforgen says...
