A Coast Guard C130 and a Marine Super Cobra collided over the Pacific off the coast of San Diego. Search and Rescue operations are underway; but, there does not appear to have been any survivors.

That DOES suck. Prayers for all involved. Prayers that they still may find some crew, and if not, prayers for those that these brave crews left behind.

My condolences to those who perished and to their loved ones.
From recent reports, there could have been even more casualties as there were also two Super Stallions in the helicopter flight formation, that were carrying Marines on a training mission to San Clemente Island.
Still trying to follow this very closely as the accident investigation progresses.

Oh man, I sure hope there are some survivors. Rest in peace to the fallen, blue skies...
Is it just me, or has there been an unusually high amount of mid-air collisions and aviation accidents lately?
