Combat divers

Are canadian combat divers trained for special warfare like SEALs or rather like EOD diver? Do they perform infiltrations or recon?

The Navy Clearence Divers do just that, destroy old mines and underwater explosive stuff. They don't get into special operation on land like SEALS.

The Army's Comabt Divers are best at demolitions as well but also do beach reconnaissance things. They would be more like America's Navy SEALs. But neither unit does any counter-terrorism like storming oil rigs or conducting raids on land or are trained for HALO and HAHO jumps. Mainly demolitions. The Army divers cross train with U.S. Army Special Forces (Green Berets) divers though.
