recce courses

right...does anyone know what the chances are for a reservist in 32bde[qor] to get a recce course..? how often does 3VP get offered recce courses? I've heard vicious rumours about the RHLI running courses...but they're in a different brigade..

There is a recce course running this summer in Wainright for reservists.

What are the chances of caspara with your unit? We've got a couple of guys with foreign para that need a jump from a Cdn aircraft, with a Cdn jumpmaster to wear the wings. Appreciate any info or help.

To be honest your best bet would be to go through CPC. I believe there is a basic para in February, and you could probably get your guys a refresher and a couple of jumps no problem on that j-stage.. If that doesn't work, get your ops staff to contact our RSS, or OC Para, and they might be able to swing something.

Thanks, enderr. I'll try the CPC. I'm getting the feeling that it's only our RSS that are, shall I say, non-supportive. I've heard of other units' RSS guys actually teaching, training and passing on experience. Makes me jealous.
