A couple of guys have asked me if I had heard of this company that is currently recruiting for Afghanistan, I could not answer them but the details are as follows:
www.wesecurity.com
White Eagle Security Services is Registered in Afghanistan with license No: I-10589.
White Eagle Security Services -- Phone: +93-777-867-777
Email: Contact@wesecurity.com
Apparently they prefer South Africans (?) and ex SF and are solely in the "Ghan".
Does anyone have any experience or knowledge of this company I can pass back.
Thanks

G'day Ed....Happy New Year! Will call you later.
As far as this mob, never heard of them but the bloke in the photo, no shit I sacked him off my team in Badakhshan when I was on CNAT. He was a NCL Holdings guy ....
I wonder if these cats are an NCL spin off or if Hammid is now running two companies?
Dan...you looking in?

There is a company that was just recently awarded a contract in Afghanistan that had some sort of name that involved the words "Eagle Security" but I didnt pay too much attention to the name at the time. Needless to say, if this mob that you are asking about is the same, then I have some info for you and can put you onto a mate with more. They are just taking over a contract that occupied the same compound that I lived in (I left 2 months ago) for a year so I know a reasonable amount about the ins and outs of the contract. Happy to discuss via PM Ed, but not in open forum.

This company has nothing to do with you know who mate but it is a similar initiative whereby a US bloke is piggy backing off a local security companies licence to legitimise themselves with the client and USAID.

I would assume that is one and the same then, they are going around offering jobs to people that are already in country. i was asked by a guy who was approached with a job offer but he also had never heard of them and the website is unimpressive.
I couldnt help as Im out the loop somewhat and have no Afghan experience with companies so thought best to ask those that do know.
Cheers Durka, Id appreciate that if you can.
interesting Aj you know him, can you email me a profile please.
Thanks for the help

There's another Afghan security company by the name of "Jaguar Eagle" that is connected to Watan is some way -- not sure if they are in any way connected to "White Eagle" security

WESS is a Afghan owned National PSC. They concentrate mainly on Convoy escorts and have also recently been awarded some other guarding projects down south. They have only very recently taken on a South African (or 2) to give them some management guidance as they have grown rather quickly considering the amount of LN guards they have on the ground and in convoys. Have met the Company President (Afghan) and his a fairly squared away guy and was suitably impressed by the discipline and training of the guards I saw during my visit. He also seems to be fairly well connected. They do not seem to be linked to the NCL's or ASG's..
One of their main clients is a PSC who cant take on more people for convoys, cant mention the name..hence the need to have a expat face to see that things go as planned when coordinating with each other.
Dont know much more than that..

From their website:
"Pricing
As indicated in our slogan "prevention is better than a strong reaction" White Eagle Security Services charges you or your company competitive and flat rate.
We develop and implement a program adapted to your works. We believe your needs are to conduct your activities with confidence in your security umbrella. WESS can provide that security umbrella through demonstrated performance of solid and discreet security planning.
White Eagle Security Services is committed to bring you professional security and services."
If this company was a package, it would have too much postage, oily stains, and wires coming from the box...possibly ticking.

We as a Safrican this caught my eye so I fired off an email and will wait and see what happens. You never know.
I need something for later in the year so no harm in sizing them up.
