Just wondering what your guys use for a deployment bag and your preferred backpack/assault packs...

I travel low vis, so I use North Face/ Oakley suit cases. As for assault bags look at Mystery Ranch;) Backpack is North Face too. I get their stuff cheap.
I have a Kelty/Eagle black rolling duffel that has been pretty reliable so far. Big and low profile.
Best pack I've owned is an Eagle Industries A-III. I've thoroughly abused it, and it has held up very well. Pretty water resistant unless you dunk it under water, and has big heavy zippers. Comes with or without molle.

I have an Eagle Industries 3 Day Assault Pack that I bought when I first got to Fort Campbell early 2001 and it is still going strong. I took it on four deployments to A-Stan and Iraq, multiple field exercises and JRTC rotations so it got used.
The rolling duffel that TS mentioned is good gear too. I have a friend that uses one and he loves it. Carries all his clothes, gear and still has room for some beverages :)
You cant go wrong with Oakley either. Their suitcases are good and their bags are worth a look at as well.

Kelty MAP (Military Assault Pack) 3500 for backpack. http://www.kelty.com/p-264-map-3500.aspx
It's low-vis, i.e., not covered in MOLLE, which I like when traveling through ME airports. This pack was designed with the help of NSW, and it really shows in the product. I have quite a few backpacks in my gorilla boxes out in the garage and this is by far the best pack I have ever used.

Looks like a mellow 3 day ops pack. The website didn't show the internals though. How does the back frame work out for you? I've had the same Eagle 3 day pack since issued in 1999, and it's still holding up, just not enough internal dividers or MOLLE.
I have a couple of Maxpeditions (Kodiak and Falcon II). I like the Kodiak sling bag style as a day hiker or bug out bag. I haven't had the chance to load out and test my Falcon II yet.

I like some of Neil Trussos gear, can be found at www.specopstech.com
this is NOT an endorsement, just another source for those looking for some better stuff. (some of iy is better) I like the drop[down backpack for prone position.
Edit to add, they have a good medical bag also.

The back is a very breathable mesh as well as the straps. There are two steel frame supporters that are suppose to be adjustable -- I have never had to adjust them, just slid them in and liked the felt so I never needed any adjustment (that thounded almosth gay...)
As for the internals of the bag. One large pocket or main compartment that has a place/pocket for a camelback. Another smaller compartment for the finer things in life -- especially the phelt sunglass pocket(definitely a bit of SEAL inspiration there) and the smallest for the other odds and ins. Two Nalgene bottle holders on the side and an ax holder.
I have no complaints whatsoever with it.

http://www.backpacksblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/10/duffle-bag.jpgWe just got these, but in ACU. I have all my CIF and RFI in it plus personal hygiene, my xbox and laptop and still have room left over.

How big is that bag? carry on size, or luggage size, nice bag, wouldn't mind having one!

Judging by the size of the webbing not very big. Looks good but I think I would rather have a backpack than a carry-on. Looks like a good range bag.... just my 2 cents...
