I am looking for a remington 700 pss, does anyone know where i could purchase one at a reasonable price? thanks in advance :-)
Depends where you live and/or if you have a FFL.
BTW, now it is called the 700P (Police) no longer the PSS.
What caliber?

Have you checked the internet?
I found some really good rifles there for very reasonable prices. I would check the internet first, then compare them to local gun stores in your community.
Not all gun stores are going to carry the PSS, but some stores can order it or will be able to advise you where to go.

If you buy it off of the internet, you will still need to have it shipped to a local FFL holder if you do not order it from your home state of residence. These local FFL holders then charge and 'handling' fee as well as all of the DROS paperwork fees. Make sure you consider these added costs when deciding which is the cheaper route.
Personally I don't know anything about sales in Michigan so I'm not help to you, sorry. It's a pretty good rifle though, I have one in .300 WinMag.

Actually I was asking if anyone knew a place on the net that sells that particular rifle, already checked the stores around here ;-)
I'll contact the person that I bought mine from and see if he can get another. He doesn't keep any in inventory. He ordered mine. If he says he can get you one for a descent price, I'll email you his email address if you are interested. My email is kolt@pcisys.net. Email me if you are interested in this.
Also do you want a detachable magazine or a regular BDM model?
Let me know.

I suggest you pick up a copy of "The Gun List." There are always fairly good prices and it should be easy to find an Rem700P.
You will need to line up an FFL of some sort. A lot of the shops will do it and charge anywhere between $15-$40, some can be a pain to deal with. Go talk to them in person, don't call. Plus, your gonna have to pay the $8 NICS check.

SpyderMonkey,
Try D&R Sports Center: http://www.dnrsports.com
They carry most Remington rifles and Leupold scopes, rings, and bases.
Good luck!
Carl/RifleMaster
Try www.gunsamerica.com (http://www.gunsamerica.com) they had several listed in Remington rifles modern and the Tactical rifles section. HTH
