The Finnish army has adopted a new version of the TRG rifle, It is called the TRG 42.
The main differences are a green stock, a stronger muzzle brake, the grip angle is more vertical, and there is a cutout in the stock to ease magazine release. Sako has stopped the manufacture of TRG 41 because it is not cost effective to produce separate models, so civilians will have the same rifle used by the Finnish army

I just received a note from Sako's Project Manager, saying that the Finnish Defence Force has purchased 490 TRG-42's,he say's there is renewed interest in the .338LM Globably, and that their sale's of the TRG-42's is increasing. The main change's have already been stated, however if any one want's the data on all 9-improvement's,go to sako.fi,and get in touch thru the contacts.
Does any one know what scope and suppressor the Finnish Army use's on their TRG-42's?

The scope has not been revealed and they do nt plan to put suppressors on a large scale
